10-5-13
On an unusually warm weekend we had in October two weeks past, Eddie and I decided to go for a hike in the mountains, and to not let the government tell us that they can close Nature. How absurd?! We found a way into the park (Shenandoah), despite complete BS signage stating that Appalachian Trail was closed. How could anyone in their right mind take this seriously?
Without further ado, and without digressing into my soapbox on what is wrong in this world, we got some beautiful photographs and wanted to share them.
Cheers!

Baby Number 2 Is Coming!
I'm a little belated in getting this news posted, but with one (very busy) 10 month old already, this should not be too hard to understand. My time is now spent baby wrangling beautiful little Wren. Who is almost a year old now.
Where did this year go??
We came to find out that we/I was expecting our second child, very close to Wren. They will be only 13-14 months apart. Amazing! We're very happy about the blessing of another wonderful baby, due at the end of January, 2014. So far, at almost 25 weeks (6 months, with only 3 more to go) I have only gained 19.5 pounds. I'll take that!

Wren turns 5 months on Hawksbill
Time is flying! Our little newborn is now 5 months old!
We took our first hike with little Wren last Sunday, and she loved it. She is already an outdoors baby. She was all dressed up in her Aran sweater and hood that I knitted for her, and the purple knit pants that were knit for our friend Nora by her mom. Check out the crazy pink sky in these photos! We had our camera on some funky setting, and this is what it captured.
